Entry 027

Open Air

As the sun sets, the city lights up.
The traffic of life never stops, it only slows.
The sky may be black and the moon may be out,
But that doesn't stop the world from turning.

As I step foot into the open night air
And take a seat among the nature there,
I realize that time never stops.
Every second wasted is a ticking clock.

There's an invisible clock over everyone's head
Counting down to zero.
Your life's being spent like money,
Penny by penny.
In the end, every cent matters.

The city never sleeps.
You never stop dying until you're dead.
But in the open air,
There is peace.
Time to reflect and time to ponder is given
To those who spend their time wisely
In the open air.
