Entry 060

A picture of a koala that came with my computer

Unfamiliar Surroundings

I never thought about it much,
And now it's too late.
I have to take action.
I'll just think along the way.
It's strange,
Coming to school this way.
It feels like a holiday
Since I wasn't at home,
And I won't be going home today.
Unfamiliar surroundings make me feel kind of special.
I'm in a new place.
I like new places.
But at the end of the day,
There's nowhere I'd rather be
Than at my own home.
